"You Know You Were A '90s Kid" Foods

Both mine and my sister's husbands are out of town this weekend, so we spent Saturday night at my parents' house, who just got back from a week-long road trip. We went to the grocery store with my mom, and I almost can't believe this small store has stayed in business in the city. It seems like a small-town, old-time grocer with handwritten prices on poster boards all around the store. My sister and I split from my mom and were reminiscing on all of the old (and quite terrible) snacks and candies we used to eat as kids. I know y'all remember these! Here's our list of some of the best (slash worst) 90s kids' foods:

- Shoe string potatoes - perfect for the picnic you never went on

- 3D Doritos - so much puffy goodness

- Blue Bell bullet popsicles

-That delicious orange Push Up ice-cream

-That one popsicle you could break over your knee (and you always wanted the half with the "handle" when you had to split with your sibling)

- Push Pops

- Cheese balls

- Baby Bottle Pop

- Ring Pops (which always got stuck in your hair before you could finish it... well, because you were a kid and didn't have a long enough attention span to finish it in one sitting)

- FunDip (since when is letting your kids eat sugar dipped in sugar a good idea???)

-Those fake bread sticks with fake cheese...yum

- Mixing "suicide" drinks (Coke, Big Red, and Sunkist was mine as a kid)

- Pickle sickles (particularly from the skating rink during your elementary's Tuesday night Skate Night)

- Zebra cakes...the best part of your sack lunch

- Sprite Remix

- Warheads & Warheads Sour Spray Candy
